What is B.D.S.M.?

B &D (bondage and discipline), D &S (dominance and submission), and S & M (sadism and masochism).
It is a variety of erotic/ kinky practices involving dominance and submission, role – playing, restraint and other interpersonal dynamics as stated by Wikipedia. It further discusses that the inclusion in the BDSM community or subculture is usually dependent on self – identification and shared experience. Interest in BDSM may range from a one time experimentation to a lifestyle.

However, for me the BDSM experience is a deeper way of understanding ones body and mind using the unorthodox act of sexual intercourse. It’s a way to read into your emotions from a more physical aspect. It pushes the mind and body to its limits of pleasure and beyond, through the reception of pain or by inflicting pain. Thus arousing each other. Here is the fun part where each partner is beginning to understand his/ her wants and needs as it relates to pleasure via pain, because of how the body reacts to it. Your partner can even go as far as recognizing your physical needs before you have an idea that whatever it is he/ she is doing satisfies you.
Yet the experience is still much more than this…
